Local Amsterdam newspaper Parool recently published an article about their favourite hotel bars in Amsterdam. Going out in hotel bars may be very normal in other cities around the world, in Amsterdam it is a relatively new phenomenon.

Having a drink in a hotel bar is more expensive than in a regular bar but you will get much more value for money. The drinks  and cocktails are well prepared, the wines are the best you can get. The bartenders are well-trained professionals instead of bored students in some other bars in Amsterdam and the atmosphere in the hotel bars is the finishing touch. All this makes a perfect night out in Amsterdam.
