Grande Magazine

Just recently we found out that we had been featured in a Belgian magazine last winter. It's called Grande magazine.

The text below is in Dutch. For those of you who don't read Dutch, it says the following:

The location! La Festa is located in the Jordaan area between all kinds of restaurants, cafes and shops. A tasteful B & B the interior of which is very tasteful and cozy. The host is also the owner of a renowned Italian restaurant where you can enjoy high service of a similar class.

Amsterdam celebrates in 2013

Next year, in 2013, Amsterdam has a lot to celebrate and this implies a lot of festivities in the city.

In 2013 all museums, including Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum (contemporary art), will be re-opened and together with this there are some anniversaries to celebrate. The Concertgebouw (Concert Hall) exists 125 years, The IDFA (international film festival) 25 years, the Royal Zoo Artis 175 years and Heineken 150 years. On top of that the world famous canal belt was built 400 years ago.

At the moment plans are being made on how to celebrate all this. We will keep you updated as soon as the calendar for specific festivities will be published.

So book your rooms for 2013 now at www.bb-lafesta.com, because Amsterdam will be booming again!
