Amsterdam ranked 8th city in Europe on shopping index.

According to the Globe Shopper City Index by the Economist easygoing Amsterdam is one of Europe's most-visited cities. The city boasts UNESCO sites, Golden Age art, scenic canals and interesting cafés. Advantages: The city ranks in the top 5 for shopping prices and ranks 8th in the index overall. Challenges: Dining, hotels and public transport rank in the bottom 10 for cost-effective pricing.

We can’t solve the low ranking on dining, hotels and public transport all by ourselves but we can set an example for the rest of Amsterdam. B&B La Festa offers rooms that are cheaper than most hotels but offer all the amenities you would expect of a four-star hotel.
