Vlaamsch Broodhuys

I made some pictures in the bakery where our breakfast is served. The Vlaamsch Broodhuys serves its exclusive products in a traditional and artisan way and offers them in a modern store environment.

The shop is open from 8:30 every day execpt on Sundays. Only on Sundays therefore we serve breakfast at La Festa. Our breakfast costs € 9,50 per person.

Prinsengracht concert

The Grachtenfestival ('canal festival') is an annual music festival with performances of classical music on special locations in Amsterdam, the canals of course being a big favorite with the audience. The festival traditionally ends with the Prinsengracht concert on Saturday 20 August.  

The classical concert will be held on a floating stage on the canal. Many thousands of people will attend the performance from their boats on the canal or from the streets and bridges surrounding the stage. Queen Beatrix will be in the audience as well.
